Friends of Abernethy Museum

The Friends of the Museum of Abernethy hold a number of fundraising events each year in aid of the Museum. They also manage the Museum's shop and produce an annual newsletter, and many of the Friends also work as volunteers, manning the Museum during opening hours.

Privileges of membership include:

• the opportunity to be involved in an important community venture;
• "behind-the-scenes" visits to other local museums;
• and a regular newsletter and programme of events.

The Friends will arrange specific training for anyone keen to learn more about the care of artefacts, preparation of displays etc., and there are opportunities for people of all ages to become involved in the Museum of Abernethy.

Subscriptions

Membership subscriptions are payable annually in March, as follows:
